Kippenberger Research Centre

Our Kippenberger Research Centre is suitable for year levels 6-13. The Kippenberger Military Archive and Research Centre is one of the leading military research centres in New Zealand. The archive and library collections are extensive and hold documents and books related to New Zealand’s military heritage dating back from 1840 to the present day. Many High School students visit the Museum to use these resources to research NCEA History. Any historical study of significance to New Zealanders can be supported here, with high schools throughout New Zealand visiting to utilise the military collection for their students conducting study for NCEA history.
