We decided to take a guided tour and are so glad we did. The tour was informative taking us on a journey with the New Zealand Army from New Zealand early pioneer wars through to present day peace keeping missions. Our guide was well versed and full of interesting information. We got a discount for being Gold Card holders. Highly recommended.

This venue exceeded our expectations with a fantastic insight to the New Zealand Army. The objects and personal belongings displayed with dignity and respect. And the Café food was exceptional.

Came across this when holidaying in NZ. Displays are very authentic and include all sides of combat not just NZ experiences. Café is also handy and made for an enjoyable visit.

Had a really good wander around the exhibits, almost had to be dragged out.

Very informative, we all loved it. Great information about Tangiwai and what war is about. Liked the Tour Mates, useful to focus attention.
